The Development Support Center for Consultancy and Training (DSC) is a consultancy firm, duly registered, since 1999, as a Limited Liability Company with a commercial record no. 18435. DSC has emerged in response to the growing institutional needs evinced by the increasing numbers of non-government organizations (NGOs) and other bodies in the Egyptian society.

DSC provides support and assistance in specific technical and organizational areas with the aim of strengthening the institutional capacity of these organizations and assisting them in addressing the needs of their target groups in order to better realize their goal and objectives to face up to the challenges civil society is encountering within the globalization era.

DSC includes a small body of consultants and unit coordinators. It functions through: the Training and Capacity Building Unit, the NGO Support Unit, the Research and Documentation Unit and lately a Marketing and Fundraising Unit. The Center has a well-established consultative committee, composed of different organizations, which periodically evaluates its services.
